On Fubruary 9 2017, a hearing was held at the Oxnard Perfoming Arts center, to discuss the fate of a new power plant, proposed by NRG Energy Inc. Over 50 IBEW members, as well as many others from other building trades, were in attendance to voice their support of the proposed plant. Read More...
On November 14th, IBEW Local 952 Held a special meeting for members to vote on whether to approve the terms of a new contract. The Membership voted 71 to 9 to approve the new terms, and the term effective dates. The New contract has a five year term, will guarantee members wage increases twice yearly, and help sustain health and welfare for our membership. Read More...
